This Suliya series tells the story of a native village girl named Jenifa (played by popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele) who desperately want to get out of the poor villahe life and wants to live large. In her desperate state, she leaves her village and goes to Lagos city in order to get her visa processed to the United States.
This turned out unsuccessful; she had to stay in the city of Lasgidi with Kiki (played by Lota Chukwu) who helped accommodate her after the failure of her visa application.
She (Jenny) went to school but was unsuccessful and had to get a job at Nikki’o salon on the Island with the help of her friend, Kiki and thus became very successful in her hair styling career.
At the salon, she meets another Stylist, Segun (Played by Folarin “Falz” Falana) who becomes interested in her and wants a love affair with her but she rejects him, but later accepts his proposal after he gos to America( Amurica in Her voice) but she later accepts his proposal after he goes to America and they both engaged themselves.
